Job summary

Astera Career and Consultancy on behalf of our client seeks a Sales Engineer to join the sales team, focusing on structural engineering and BIM software solutions. The role blends technical knowledge with business development, presenting IDEA StatiCa, Tekla, and SCIA Engineer to customers, managing the full sales process, and traveling domestically and internationally as needed.

Candidates should hold a civil engineering degree, have at least two years of engineering experience, and be fluent

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering required.
Engineering experience with steel structures preferred.
Interest in or experience with BIM and structural software recommended.

Responsibilities

Present and promote the assigned software solutions to customers from both technical and commercial perspectives.
Analyze the needs of existing and potential customers.
Prepare suitable product and solution recommendations based on customer requirements.
Contribute to new customer acquisition through phone calls, face-to-face meetings, and field visits.
Manage the entire sales process, from quotation preparation to closing deals.
Review technical documentation and translate it into Turkish when necessary.
Prepare regular reports on customer meetings and sales activities.
Coordinate sales and related processes with relevant teams.
Participate in domestic and international customer visits, trade fairs, and industry events.
