Job summary

Siemens Mobility Turkey R&D seeks an experienced RF Engineer to lead validation and test activities for radio unit development and private 5G solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across the product lifecycle.

The role requires 5+ years in RF engineering, hands-on test equipment, and knowledge of FCC/ETSI/3GPP standards; English proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• RF validation and test activities for radio unit development and private 5G solutions.
• Plan and execute test campaigns for RF characteristics against regulatory standards.
• Participate in full product life-cycle from requirements to pre-compliance testing and certification.
• Coordinate with test labs and certification bodies for submissions and approvals.
• Produce high-quality deliverables including plans and reports within schedule.
• Collaborate with international, cross-functional teams across the lifecycle.

What are my responsibilities?

• RF validation and test activities for radio unit development forindustrial communicationnetworksand private 5G solutions,
• Planning and executing test campaigns for validation of radio characteristics (e.g., transmitter power, spurious emissions, frequency stability, RF exposure) against regulatory standards such as FCC, ETSI, and 3GPP
• Taking part in the complete product life-cycle, from requirements definition through pre-compliance testing to final certification
• Contribution to solutions required for related standards, requirements elicitation and development processes improvement
• Coordinating with accredited test labs and certification bodies to support regulatory submissions and product approvals
• Producing high quality project deliverables, including test plans, reports, and certification documentation, within planned time and effort
• Collaborate with international and cross-functional teams throughout the complete product lifecycle
• Conforming to Siemens processes, quality standards, and guidelines

What do I need to qualify for this job?

• BSc., MSc. Or PhD in Electronics, Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science or related areas
• Proven 5+ years of experience in RF engineering, testing, or validation
• Hands-on experience with RF test equipment (spectrum analyzers, vector network analyzers, signal generators, EMC/EMI chambers) is a must
• Experience in development or validation of RF products for new generation wireless communication technologies (e.g., WiMax, 4G, 5G, Wi-Fi 6/7, cellular IoT)
• Solid knowledge of regulatory standards and certification processes, particularly FCC, and familiarity with ETSI or other regional equivalents is a big plus
• Very good command of English
• Knowledge in software life cycle, test automation, and agile methodologies is appreciated
