Job summary

Siemens Turkey R&D is seeking an experienced RF engineer to lead validation and test activities for industrial networks and private 5G solutions.

You will plan and execute test campaigns, ensure regulatory compliance, and contribute to product life-cycle with cross-functional teams across the globe.

Qualifications

• BSc./MSc./PhD in Electronics, Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science or related areas.
• Proven 5+ years of experience in RF engineering, testing, or validation.
• Hands-on experience with RF test equipment (spectrum analyzers, vector network analyzers, signal generators, EMC/EMI chambers).
• Experience in development or validation of RF products for new generation wireless communication technologies (WiMax, 4G, 5G, Wi-Fi 6/7, cellular IoT).
• Solid knowledge of regulatory standards and certification processes, particularly FCC; familiarity with ETSI or regional equivalents a big plus.
• Very good command of English.
• Knowledge in software life cycle, test automation, and agile methodologies is appreciated.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Open minded and highly collaborative; no restriction for travelling.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the complete product life-cycle from requirements to pre-compliance testing and final certification.
• Contribute to solutions required for related standards and development processes.
• Coordinate with accredited labs and certification bodies to support regulatory submissions.
• Produce high quality deliverables including test plans, reports, and certification documentation.
• Collaborate with international and cross-functional teams throughout the product lifecycle.
• Conform to Siemens processes, quality standards, and guidelines.

What are my responsibilities?

• RF validation and test activities for radio unit development for industrial communication networks and private 5G solutions,
• Planning and executing test campaigns for validation of radio characteristics (e.g., transmitter power, spurious emissions, frequency stability, RF exposure) against regulatory standards such as FCC, ETSI, and 3GPP
• Taking part in the complete product life-cycle, from requirements definition through pre-compliance testing to final certification
• Contribution to solutions required for related standards, requirements elicitation and development processes improvement
• Coordinating with accredited test labs and certification bodies to support regulatory submissions and product approvals
• Producing high quality project deliverables, including test plans, reports, and certification documentation, within planned time and effort
• Collaborate with international and cross-functional teams throughout the complete product lifecycle
• Conforming to Siemens processes, quality standards, and guidelines

What do I need to qualify for this job?
