Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a UI/UX Director based in Turkey for a fully remote, executive-level leadership role. You will drive design strategy across sophisticated web and e-commerce experiences, lead multi-disciplinary teams, and bridge creative vision with front-end execution.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in digital design with leadership experience.
• Proven track record leading complex UI/UX initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of front-end technologies and design systems.
• Experience with e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Adobe Commerce).
• Excellent storytelling, client-facing communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Set creative and technical direction for UI/UX initiatives, balancing design with usability, performance and accessibility.
• Lead mobile-first design across websites and omnichannel experiences.
• Oversee scalable design systems, component libraries, and design handoffs.
• Provide design leadership for e-commerce projects involving Shopify andAdobe Commerce; leverage React.js, HTML, CSS, JS.
• Establish high standards for visual consistency and WCAG compliance.
• Use data and insights to inform design strategy and business impact.
• Evaluate AI tools to accelerate prototyping and workflows, maintaining quality.
• Mentor UX/UI designers and foster autonomy, collaboration, and execution quality.
• Own resource allocation, capacity planning, forecasting, and budgets.
• Lead client discussions, proposals, and new business pitches; translate business goals into digital strategies.
