Job summary
Hitachi Energy Ltd. is seeking an experienced R&D Senior Design Electrical Engineer to advance StarLiquid standards for liquid-filled distribution transformers.
You will develop technical standards, review designs, and support global factory implementation while collaborating with diverse engineering teams. The role emphasizes design optimization, change validation, and knowledge transfer across international sites.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Electronics Engineering is required.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in designing liquid-filled distribution transformers using CDS Electrical, NG CDSe, or comparable tools.
- Knowledge of StarLiquid, StarX, and Design Anywhere Manufacture Anywhere platforms is essential.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain StarLiquid electrical technical standards.
- Review transformer designs and calculations for cost, performance and manufacturability.
- Support factory designs and provide technical guidance for global implementations.
- Collaborate across engineering, product management, manufacturing, quality and software teams.
