Job summary

World Business Lenders (WBL) seeks an ARC Manager to lead a remote, multinational team responsible for litigation, foreclosure, bankruptcy, and other recovery matters on distressed commercial loans. You will guide strategy, ensure timely case progression, and manage external counsel across jurisdictions.

The role requires a law degree and 10+ years in related fields, with strong leadership, English fluency, and robust reporting.

Qualifications

• Must hold a law degree or equivalent legal qualification from a recognized institution.
• 10+ years of experience in litigation, foreclosure, bankruptcy, debt recovery, creditor rights, or a related legal field.
• Experience leading or supervising legal professionals and managing a substantial portfolio of cases.
• Professional fluency in written and spoken English.
• Ability to prioritize competing demands and manage a high-volume caseload in a deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of legal professionals responsible for litigation, foreclosure, bankruptcy, and other Asset Resolution matters involving distressed commercial business loans.
• Allocate workloads, establish priorities, monitor deadlines, and ensure timely and consistent case management.
• Provide legal guidance on foreclosure proceedings, breach of note and guaranty claims, bankruptcy, title disputes, receiverships, and deficiency claims.
• Monitor case progress, identify risks, address delays, and elevate complex matters to senior management when appropriate.
• Coordinate with outside counsel on case strategy, deadlines, legal documentation, performance, and expenditures.
• Collaborate with Asset Management, Credit, Servicing, Finance, Compliance, and Operations to maximize recovery opportunities.
• Support settlement negotiations, loan restructurings, and related submissions to committees and senior management.
• Maintain accurate case records and reporting on portfolio activity and outcomes.
