Job summary

Oniverse in Istanbul seeks a Regional Operations Specialist to coordinate day-to-day communications between Türkiye and Gulf Region partners. You will act as the central point for operational and commercial matters, ensuring smooth processes across departments.

You will track requests, follow-ups, and project timelines for new store openings, while bridging language and cultural gaps between Türkiye and the Gulf Region, supporting cross-functional teams for timely decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, international trade, economics, international relations, or a related field.
• Advanced proficiency in both English and Arabic, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working with Gulf Region or GCC countries preferred.
• Experience in United Arab Emirates and/or Qatar markets preferred.
• Experience in retail, fashion, international operations, or a related field is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving and a solution-oriented mindset.
• Excellent planning, organizational, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to communicate professionally with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Acting as the primary point of contact between the Türkiye organization and business partners across the Gulf Region.
• Reviewing and coordinating requests, inquiries, and operational matters received from Gulf Region partners, ensuring appropriate follow-up with relevant managers and teams.
• Collaborating with cross-functional departments on logistics, payments, invoicing, contracts, documentation, store operations, and other business processes to ensure efficient issue resolution.
• Tracking and coordinating project timelines, technical approvals, documentation, and handover processes related to new store openings.
• Maintaining regular communication with regional business partners and providing timely updates on ongoing matters and operational developments.
• Participating in meetings and online calls with business partners, ensuring that decisions, action items, and agreed next steps are followed up internally.
• Facilitating effective communication and collaboration by navigating differences in language, communication styles, and business cultures between Türkiye and the Gulf Region.
• Developing a comprehensive understanding of the company's organizational structure, departmental responsibilities, and internal workflows to ensure effective coordination and accurate routing of requests.

In this role, you will serve as the central point of contact and coordination for operational and commercial matters arising from the Gulf Region.

Key Requirements

• Experience working with the Gulf Region or GCC countries, or knowledge of the region's business culture, is preferred.
• Professional experience in the United Arab Emirates and/or Qatar markets is preferred.
• Experience in retail, fashion, international operations, business development, or a related field is an advantage.
