Job summary

TEI - TUSAŞ Engine Industries, Inc. is seeking a procurement-focused professional in Eskişehir to lead sourcing strategies for raw materials and manage supplier relationships across domestic and international markets.

You will assess suppliers, issue quotes, place purchase orders, and collaborate with engineering, quality, and R&D teams to ensure compliance with specifications and cost targets. The role emphasizes continuous learning and adaptation in a multinational setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Metallurgical, or Aerospace Engineering.
• Sourcing, Supply Chain and Project Management knowledge – experience is preferable.
• Knowledge on ERP (SAP) is preferable.
• Able to work in a multinational environment with suppliers from different countries.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong team player with a collaborative mindset.
• Ability to effectively manage stakeholders through strong communication skills.
• Goal and result oriented working discipline.
• A mindset that supports continuous learning and personal development.
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions with high emotional resilience.
• Currently residing in Eskişehir or willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage sourcing strategies for raw materials of TEI’s R&D projects.
• Manage sourcing activities, identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts.
• Request quotations, place purchase orders, and liaise with suppliers.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, production and R&D teams to meet specs.
• Procure materials from domestic and international markets per policy.
• Organize and monitor logistics and import processes for materials from abroad.
• Manage localization and cost saving projects.
• Improve partnerships with current suppliers and extend supplier database.
• Evaluate suppliers on-time delivery, quality, and lead times.
• Monitor global aerospace market and supply chain trends and regulations.

The Journey, Powered by You, Begins:

• Develop and manage sourcing strategies for Raw Materials of TEI’s indigenous R&D projects such as forgings, castings, additive manufacturing parts.
• Manage sourcing activities, identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiating contracts to secure the best terms and pricing.
• Ask/ Receive quotations, place purchase orders based on evaluations, and submit orders to relevant suppliers.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, production, R&D teams to ensure materials specifications and project requirements.
• Conduct procurement of materials from domestic and international markets in accordance with our company policies on quality, information security, environment, health and safety, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Organize and monitor logistics and import processes for raw materials supplied from abroad.
• Manage localization and cost saving projects.
• Improving partnership with current suppliers.
• Searches alternative domestic and international suppliers in order to extend supplier database.
• Evaluate suppliers periodically in terms of on-time delivery, quality, lead time etc.
• Monitor, identify and mitigate supply chain risks.
• Preparing reports, presentations regularly on status of projects, supplier performance.
• Monitorglobal aerospace market, new trends, global supply chain dynamics and regulations.
