Comita d.o.o. in Türkiye is seeking a PTW Coordinator to maintain the Permit to Work system in support of safety and compliance on an international gas pipeline project.

You will guide operations, maintenance and contractor personnel on completion of permits, mentor authorities, and deliver PTW training while ensuring timely communication and robust tracking of permits.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) or related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years as a PTW Coordinator.
• Knowledge of ISO 45001; familiarity with ISO 14001/ISO 9001 is a plus.
• Strong PTW procedures and risk assessment knowledge.
• Knowledge of high-risk activities: hot work, confined space, working at height, lifting.
• Training or certification in occupational health and safety management is an advantage.
• Ability to conduct site inspections and ensure compliance.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills; teamwork in international environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office; English mandatory; Turkish strong advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Manage personnel docs for mobilization to Receiving Terminal site.
• Issue PTWs per site requirements.
• Control CGM and subcontractor PTWs for compliance.
• Quality check permits/certificates; ensure signatures; flag conflicts.
• Mentor Performing Authorities on PTW matters.
• Conduct PTW training for personnel and subcontractors.
• Communicate PTW updates promptly to relevant staff.
• Maintain PTW tracking system; close/cancel/reopen on completion.
• Manage PTW Register; submit to Client.
• Support HSSE engineer as needed.

If you´re driven by some unprecedented thirst for new challenges and you´re an expert in the field of Permit to Work (PTW), come & join our local team in Türkiye as a PTW Coordinator, where we are enabling safe and reliable operation of a major international gas pipeline.

Who are you?

An experienced PTW Coordinator for maintaining the Permit to Work system to support operational safety and compliance policies, procedures, and forms, able to provide guidance to operations, maintenance & contractor personnel on completion of appropriate permits to perform work across the Project.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety (HSE/OHS), or a related technical discipline,
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a PTW Coordinator,
• Knowledge of ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems); familiarity with ISO 14001 (Environmental Management Systems) and ISO 9001 (Quality Management Systems) is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of PTW procedures and risk assessments,
• Knowledge of high-risk work activities, including hot work, confined space entry, working at height, lifting operations,
• Relevant training or certification in occupational health and safety management is an advantage,
• Ability to conduct site inspections, identify unsafe conditions, and ensure compliance with project HSEprocedures,
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail,
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate effective collaboration,
• Adaptability to work efficiently in an international work environment,
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word),
• Good command of English is mandatory; knowledge of Turkish is a strong advantage.

Job Description:

• Managing personnel administrative documentation to be required for mobilization to Receiving Terminal site,
• Issuing PTWs as per PTW Site requirements,
• Controlling CGM and its subcontractor PTWs to ensure that PTWs comply with the PTW Procedure,
• Providing a quality check on the completion of permits and certificates, ensuring all the necessary signatures have been obtained, and informing the PA, AA, HSSE related to any potential conflicts,
• Mentoring Performing Authorities on PTW-related matters,
• Conducting PTW training to the personnel and subcontractors,
• Ensuring timely and effective communication to all relevant personnel in case PTW updates/changes are raised,
• Ensuring an effective PTW tracking system is in place to keep track of valid work permits and ensure closure/cancellation/reopening of work permits on completion of work,
• Managing the PTW Register and submitting it to the Client,
• Supporting Comita’s HSSE engineer when and where needed.
