Job summary

ACWA in Türkiye seeks an experienced Contracts Manager to lead contractual and commercial management of a major energy project. You will work closely with the Project Director and project team, overseeing EPC contract administration, variations, claims, payments and close-out.

The role requires a degree in Law, Engineering or Business and at least 10 years' experience on large energy or Oil & Gas projects, with 5+ years in EPC contract management from the Owner/Employer side, and fluency in

Qualifications

• Degree in Law, Engineering, Business or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years' experience on large, complex Energy or Oil & Gas projects.
• At least 5 years' EPC contract management experience, preferably from Owner/Employer side.
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC or similar international EPC contracts.
• Proven experience managing variations, claims, EOTs, LDs, payment applications and disputes.
• Strong commercial, negotiation and stakeholder management capability.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Turkish.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day contractual management of the EPC Contractor.
• Manage contractual obligations, notices, correspondence and key deliverables.
• Review and assess variations, claims, EOTs, prolongation costs and other contractual entitlements.
• Review contractor payment applications and contractual milestones.
• Monitor contractual and commercial risks, including LDs, warranties, securities and liabilities.
• Support negotiations and resolution of contractual claims and disputes.
• Advise the Project Director and wider Engineering, Construction, Finance, Legal and Project Controls teams on contractual matters.
• Manage contractual requirements through commissioning, testing, COD, handover and final close-out.

Working closely with the Project Director and wider project team, you will take ownership of the administration of key project agreements, with a particular focus on EPC contract management, claims, variations, payments, contractual risk and project close-out.
