Job summary

IOM - UN Migration seeks a Senior Project Associate – Protection to coordinate labour mobility activities, support case management, and oversee day-to-day project implementation in pilot provinces in Türkiye. Occasional field travel is required to support programme delivery.

The role involves collaboration with the LMI Unit and other partners, budget monitoring, and ensuring donor compliance with IOM policies. Strong English and Turkish skills are needed.

Qualifications

• Education and experience in protection, migration or development fields.
• Experience liaising with authorities and UN agencies.
• Experience in project implementation and team supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day project implementation and monitor progress against plans.
• Coordinate protection-sensitive relocation, case management and referrals.
• Monitor budgets and ensure donor and IOM compliance.
• Strengthen referral pathways with LMI and other units.
• Organize capacity-building trainings and stakeholder briefings.
• Maintain coordination with authorities, partners and donors.
• Prepare reports, updates and SOPs; share lessons learned.
