Job summary

IOM in Türkiye is seeking an experienced coordinator to support the implementation of a major employment and socio-economic inclusion project. The role emphasizes planning, liaison with diverse partners, and capacity building across the team.

The successful candidate will work under Ankara supervision to ensure timely deliverables, budget tracking, and high-quality reporting while maintaining UN standards for inclusivity and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Experience liaising with governmental authorities, international institutions and NGOs in migration management.
• Experience working with migrants, refugees, IDPs, trafficking victims or vulnerable groups.
• Knowledge of project/program management in humanitarian settings.
• Proficiency in report writing and data presentation.
• Good computer literacy and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordination, implementation and monitoring of project activities.
• Compile, summarize, analyze and present information on project topics.
• Monitor budget implementation and propose adjustments.
• Act as focal point for administrative coordination and liaise with internal/external partners.
• Draft status reports and briefing notes; highlight delivery gaps and propose corrective actions.
• Prepare, update and present reports, graphics and statistics.
• Organize meetings, workshops and training; deliver capacity-building sessions.
• Respond to information requests and maintain files/records.
• Engage with local authorities, UN agencies, donors and other stakeholders.
• Monitor implementing partners and report non-compliance.
• Assist in SOPs and concept papers development; support new project work.
• Provide guidance and supervision to other unit staff.
