Job summary

Sovos is seeking a Project Manager II to own the full lifecycle of client implementations, from kickoff to go-live and beyond. You will coordinate with stakeholders, vendors and internal teams to deliver projects on time, on budget, and with the expected quality.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in e-transformation or SAP projects, strong English and Turkish, and comfort with AI-assisted workflows. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years in e-transformation projects (e-invoice, e-ledger) and/or SAP implementations.
• Strong written and verbal English and Turkish communication.
• Experience with Microsoft Project and PSA tools is desirable.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and make informed decisions.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned projects end-to-end, ensuring on-time delivery and budget adherence.
• Develop project scopes, timelines and objectives with stakeholders.

The Role

At Sovos, we're looking for a Project Manager to own the full lifecycle of client implementations, from kickoff to go-live and beyond. You'll be the central point of contact for stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams, ensuring projects deliver on time, on budget, and with the quality our clients expect. This role is a chance to shape outcomes for enterprise clients navigating complex tax compliance transformations.

More specifically, you will:

• Manage assigned projects end-to-end, ensuring on-time delivery, budget adherence, and clear ownership throughout the lifecycle.
• Develop project scopes, timelines, and objectives in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring technical feasibility and alignment across teams.
• Plan and allocate project resources effectively, managing and approving all billable time and expenses recorded by consultants and yourself.
• Provide regularly scheduled updates to internal and external stakeholders, holding structured project review meetings throughout the implementation.
• Proactively manage scope changes, identify risks and issues early, communicate impact clearly, and devise contingency plans when needed.
• Leverage AI tools to improve project tracking, documentation, and stakeholder communication workflows.
• Serve as the first point of escalation for project-related risks and issues, managing expectations to ensure satisfaction across all parties.

What You Bring to Sovos

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• You've built solid experience managing e-transformation projects (e-invoice, e-ledger, etc.) and/or SAP implementations, ideally 3-5 years.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Turkish.
• Strong ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, with proven time management, organisational, and decision-making skills.
• Demonstrated track record of delivering projects on time and on budget, with comfort making important decisions that impact outcomes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project; familiarity with PSA software solutions (e.g., OpenAir) is highly desirable.
• Comfort working with enterprise-level clients and delivering superior customer service; moderate travel to client sites and Sovos locations may be required.
• Comfort with AI-assisted workflows and willingness to adopt new tools that enhance project delivery.
