Job summary

DAIICHI Electronic in Istanbul seeks an experienced Project Manager for automotive electronics initiatives. You will oversee project plans, monitor deliverables, and drive continuous improvements across APQP/PPAP frameworks. Strong analytical skills and a proactive, agile mindset are essential.

The role requires 5+ years in a similar field, advanced English, and willingness to travel abroad to coordinate with global teams and suppliers. Excellent stakeholder communication is a must.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electric & Electronics or Mechatronics.
• Min. 5 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Advanced level of English.
• Knowledge of APQP-PPAP processes.
• Knowledge of Waterfall/Scrum-Agile framework.
• PMP certificated (or equivalent) preferred.
• Willingness to travel abroad.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain a project management plan.
• Monitor and support project deliverables.
• Initiate and implement continuous improvement suggestions.
• Continuously monitor and measure project processes and activities to identify risks and provide corrective actions.
• Update stakeholders on project progress.
• Liaise with project stakeholders within the scope.
• Follow up on and utilize customers' standards/requirements.
• Prepare and maintain engineering records per APQP, PPAP and QMS requirements.
• Provide insight around risks and opportunities and resolve conflicts.
• Follow up on sample and serial production processes.

Role Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electric& Electronics or Mechatronics
• Min. 5 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in the automotive industry
• Advanced level of English
• Familiar with APQP-PPAP processes
• Knowledge of Waterfall/ Scrum&Agile framework
• Preferably PMP certificated (or equivalent)
• Ability to show a proactive approach and keen to adapt agile working principles, self-learner
• Good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Experienced Jira & MS Project applications
• Result-oriented and capable of understanding and acting upon technical, commercial, procurement, and logistic issues
• High attention to detail and deadlines
• Available to travel abroad
• Strong business acumen in project planning and management
• Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills

Role Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain up-to-date engineering records according to APQP &PPAP and QMS requirements
• Provide insight around potential risks and opportunities, resolve conflict, initiate resolution, and deliver results
• Follow up on the sample and serial production processes
