Job summary

ABB is seeking a Production Engineer to organize resources and optimize capacity on our İzmit-area production lines in Turkey. This role focuses on scheduling, demand-plan alignment, and driving on-time delivery, with ongoing improvements to equipment and processes. English language skills are essential, and Turkish proficiency is required.

You will lead a team, ensure staffing and development, and coordinate with internal groups to maintain smooth operations on the line.

Qualifications

• University degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical or Industrial).
• 3+ years of experience in related fields.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English; Turkish knowledge is a must.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and allocates resources to meet line production targets.
• Leads capacity planning and resource optimization for the assigned unit or line.
• Ensures production scheduling and plan meets the volume requirements defined in the demand plan.
• Identifies deficiencies and oversees actions to improve production performance.
• Manages resolution of critical product or equipment issues with internal teams.
• Ensures area is properly organized, staffed, and directed.
