Job description

Açık Holding

with 25 companies and over 2500 employees, operates in more than 20 countries, working towards a better future with its innovative approach and focus on technology. As a technologycentric group of companies, it has been operating for over a quarter of a century in critical areas such as telecommunications and information technologies, aerospace and defense industry, construction, operational technologies, health and health technologies, and tourism.

Boreas Technology

operates within Açık Holding in the field of Operational Technology and, thanks to over 20 years of engineering experience and R&D investments, produces air conditioning devices and operational technologies for critical buildings such as hospitals, shopping malls, and hotels, primarily industrial structures, in many countries around the world. At Boreas Technology, we continue to grow with our innovative projects, strong engineering infrastructure, and work culture that supports continuous improvement.

Shape the production behind mission-critical cooling.

At Boreas Tech, we design and manufacture advanced cooling solutions for data centers and mission-critical environments — where reliability, precision and performance are essential.

As we continue to expand our manufacturing capabilities and strengthen our operational excellence, we are looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead our production operations, develop high-performing teams and help build a more efficient, scalable and digitally integrated manufacturing environment.

This is a role for a seasoned manufacturing leader who understands the realities of the factory floor while seeing the bigger operational picture — connecting people, capacity, technology and continuous improvement to deliver reliable results.

Your Impact

Reporting to the Factory Manager, you will take ownership of production execution and lead our production teams to achieve safety, quality, delivery and productivity objectives.

Working closely with Engineering, Planning, Supply Chain, Quality and Procurement, you will:

  • Lead day-to-day production operations, ensuring safe, efficient and disciplined execution in line with quality, delivery and performance targets.
  • Manage production based on released engineering data, BOMs and agreed production schedules, ensuring alignment between priorities and shop-floor execution.
  • Optimize production capacity, workload, workforce, machinery and shop-floor resources to meet operational requirements and delivery commitments.
  • Monitor production performance, identify bottlenecks and execution risks, and lead corrective and recovery actions in coordination with relevant functions.
  • Work closely with Planning, Supply Chain and Warehouse teams on production priorities, capacity constraints, material availability and shortages, assessing their impact on production.
  • Take ownership of the integration and continuous development of production processes within the ERP environment, improving data accuracy, traceability and visibility across manufacturing operations.
  • Establish and monitor key production KPIs and use operational data to improve productivity, capacity utilization, efficiency, quality and overall manufacturing performance.
  • Lead Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen and 5S initiatives, driving structured continuous improvement, waste reduction and stronger operational discipline across production areas.
  • Manage production-related subcontractor operations and progress payment processes, including control of calculation methodologies and operational data in coordination with Procurement, HR and relevant stakeholders.
  • Lead, coach and develop Production Engineers, Team Leaders and Operators, building a culture of accountability, collaboration, safety and continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with Quality to monitor process performance, address non-conformities and drive sustainable corrective actions.
  • Ensure production operations comply with occupational health & safety requirements and the company’s integrated management systems, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 27001.
What You Bring

We are looking for a seasoned manufacturing leader who combines deep production expertise with strong people leadership, operational judgement and a continuous improvement mindset.

You ideally bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or another relevant engineering discipline.
  • At least 17 years of professional experience in manufacturing and production environments.
  • At least 7 years of experience as a Production Manager or in an equivalent managerial role, with direct responsibility for production teams and manufacturing performance.
  • Strong experience in shop-floor operations, capacity and workforce management, production performance and resource optimization.
  • Strong understanding of cross-functional manufacturing processes and the interaction between Production, Engineering, Planning, Supply Chain and Quality.
  • Strong experience with ERP-driven manufacturing processes, preferably including production process integration, improvement or digitalization.
  • Demonstrated experience in Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder-management capabilities.
  • Experience in managing production-related subcontractors or outsourced manufacturing operations will be considered an asset.
  • A leadership style that builds accountability, trust, engagement and performance.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally when required, and a valid driving licence.

Professional working proficiency in English will be considered a strong asset in our increasingly international business environment.

Why Boreas?

The infrastructure behind the digital world is evolving rapidly — and cooling technology is becoming increasingly critical to its performance, efficiency and sustainability.

At Boreas, you will work at the intersection of engineering, advanced manufacturing and digital infrastructure, contributing to solutions designed for some of the world’s most demanding mission-critical environments.

This is more than an opportunity to manage an established production operation.

You will have the opportunity to strengthen it, digitalize it, scale it and help shape the next stage of our manufacturing journey.

If you are motivated by complex manufacturing challenges, believe in developing both processes and people, and want to build production capabilities that can scale with an ambitious technology business, we would like to meet you.
