Job summary

LHH is seeking a Production Manager for its global food industry partner. You will lead all production operations, drive safety culture, and ensure quality across GMP, HACCP, and ISO standards.

The role requires coordinating with Planning, Engineering, Maintenance, QA, and Supply Chain to deliver on production plans and continuous improvement. You will manage budgets and workforce planning, drive asset reliability, and lead readiness for new product introductions and process changes.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of manufacturing experience with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Experience implementing HACCP, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 22000.
• Strong planning and organizational skills, with a track record of delivering targets.

Responsibilities

• Lead all production operations to ensure safe, efficient manufacturing and meeting business objectives.
• Direct frontline managers and employees to deliver results in a safe, productive environment.
• Drive safety culture with compliance to health, safety, environmental, and food safety standards.
• Deliver production plans achieving outputs, service levels, productivity, and OEE.
• Maintain product quality per GMP, HACCP, and regulatory requirements; drive CAPAs.
• Optimize costs by managing labor, waste, utilities, and production resources.
• Collaborate with Planning, Engineering, Maintenance, QA, Supply Chain, Procurement, and R&D.
• Ensure equipment availability and readiness with Maintenance to maximize asset reliability.
• Lead production readiness for new products, process changes, and capacity expansions.
• Manage budgets, workforce planning, and resource allocation to hit targets.
• Analyze customer complaints and implement corrective actions.
• Provide training to ensure efficient use of factory resources.
• Ensure all production activities follow procedures and established standards.
• Develop competencies and motivation of production staff.
• Operate in line with Occupational Health & Safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all production operations to ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable manufacturing of products while meeting business objectives.
• Lead frontline managers and employees to deliver business results in a safe and productive environment.
• Drive a strong safety culture by ensuring full compliance with health, safety, environmental, and food safety standards, while promoting proactive risk management and safe behaviors.
• Deliver production plans by achieving targets for output, service level, productivity, OEE, and factory reliability through effective execution and daily performance management.
• Ensure consistent product quality by maintaining compliance with quality standards, GMP, HACCP, and regulatory requirements, while driving root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Optimize manufacturing costs through effective management of labor, waste, utilities, and production resources while improving operational efficiency.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Planning, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain, Procurement, and R&D to ensure smooth execution of production plans and successful implementation of new projects.
• Ensure equipment availability and operational readiness by working closely with Maintenance to maximize asset reliability and minimize downtime.
• Lead production readiness for new product introductions, process changes, capacity expansions, and operational transformation projects.
• Manage production budgets, workforce planning, and resource allocation to achieve financial and operational targets.
• Analyze customer complaints, review related processes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Provide training and guidance to employees to ensure effective and efficient utilization of factory resources.
• Ensure that all production activities are performed in compliance with procedures, work instructions, and established standards.
• Develop the competencies and motivation levels of production employees under his/her responsibility.
• Ensure that production operations within the assigned area are conducted in accordance with required Occupational Health & Safety and quality standards.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in manufacturing environments, including at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of HACCP, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 22000 management systems.
• Good knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
• Strong knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety requirements and practices.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Effective leadership and people management skills.
