Job summary

BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems in Izmir seeks a dynamic Production Shift Supervisor to lead the manufacturing plant operations on shift. You will ensure production targets are met, coordinate with Team Leaders, and train production operators to uphold quality standards.

The role requires strong team management, problem-solving, and TPM/ISO awareness in a fast-paced environment at our Izmir plant.

Responsibilities

• Receiving information from the Team Leader of the previous shift
• Informing the Team Leader of the next shift
• Forwarding the information received to the Shift Manager
• Following up on series changes in the lines
• Coordinating line openings and closings
• Informing the Shift Manager in case of improper production
• Ensuring that the line reaches production targets
• Collaborating and assisting with the line technician to solve technical problems in production
• Controlling raw material, semi-finished and finished product stocks
• To control productivity, traceability, lot paper, MPI and TPM's
• To control records belonging to production lines
• To provide training to production operators
• To control and correct the compliance of work safety rules
• To control the order and cleanliness of work stations, clothing and equipment
• To inform the Shift Manager about work stations, rotations of employees, trainings, holidays, overtimes, schedules of missing operators and related information while controlling production
• To Conduct analysis for improvements While controlling improvements in production
