Job summary

HAUS Centrifuge Technologies is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead high-volume machining operations with a hands-on, proactive approach. You will own production performance, drive continuous improvement, and manage a cross-functional team across Quality, Planning, and Maintenance.

Ideal candidates have 8–10 years in production, 5+ years in management, and strong CNC/CAD/CAM and ERP experience; English proficiency at B2 level is required, with a valid Class B license.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering or related field.
  • Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  • At least 8-10 years in production/manufacturing with 5+ years in a managerial role.
  • Experience in medium- to large-scale industrial environments with high volumes and diverse products.
  • Strong knowledge of CNC technologies and machining methods (CNC turning, 2-axis, vertical machining centers).
  • Knowledge and practice with CAD/CAM systems in manufacturing.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Experience with ERP systems for production management, planning and monitoring.
  • Experience in capacity, workforce, machinery, and shift planning.
  • Strong knowledge of KPIs, productivity, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement.
  • Hands-on, proactive leadership; ownership of production performance and issue resolution.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills; minimum B2 English proficiency.
  • Valid Class B driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Lead production operations and meet quality, cost, delivery and efficiency targets.
  • Execute production plans and manage capacity, machinery, workforce and shifts.
  • Monitor and improve machining processes and related operations.
  • Track KPIs, analyze deviations, and implement corrective actions.
  • Identify bottlenecks and develop improvement and investment recommendations.
  • Monitor production via ERP systems and ensure data accuracy.
  • Collaborate with Quality, Planning, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and Engineering.
  • Lead lean manufacturing initiatives and drive productivity gains.
  • Develop and mentor the production team; ensure action follow-through.

Job description

At HAUS Centrifuge Technologies, we are looking for an experienced Production Manager who combines strong technical manufacturing expertise with effective leadership and drives production performance through a hands-on, proactive, and results-oriented management approach.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead production operations in line with quality, cost, delivery, and efficiency targets,
  • Ensure the execution of production plans and effectively manage capacity, machinery, workforce, and shift planning,
  • Monitor and improve manufacturing processes, with a particular focus on machining operations,
  • Monitor production KPIs, analyze deviations and root causes, and ensure that necessary corrective and improvement actions are implemented,
  • Identify bottlenecks, capacity constraints, and resource requirements across production processes and develop improvement and investment recommendations,
  • Ensure effective monitoring and management of production processes through ERP systems,
  • Work closely with Quality, Planning, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to improve end-to-end production performance,
  • Lead lean manufacturing, productivity, and continuous improvement initiatives,
  • Lead and develop the production team, strengthening both individual performance and technical capabilities,
  • Take ownership of production results and ensure that agreed actions are followed through to completion.
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, or a related engineering discipline,
  • Master’s degree in a relevant field is preferred,
  • At least 8-10 years of experience in production/manufacturing, including a minimum of 5 years in a managerial role,
  • Production management experience within medium- to large-scale industrial organizations with high production volumes and a broad product/part variety,
  • Strong knowledge of CNC technologies and machining methods, including CNC turning, 2-axis machining, vertical machining centers, and similar manufacturing technologies,
  • Knowledge and practical experience with CAD/CAM systems and their application in manufacturing processes,
  • Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings,
  • Experience in complex manufacturing environments involving a high number of product, part, and material references,
  • Experience using ERP systems for production management, planning, and monitoring,
  • Experience in capacity, workforce, machinery, and shift planning,
  • Strong knowledge of production KPIs, productivity management, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement practices,
  • Strong leadership, team management, problem-solving, and analytical thinking skills,
  • A hands-on and proactive leader who stays close to plant operations, takes ownership of production performance, and drives issues through to resolution,
  • Strong communication and influencing skills,
  • Minimum B2 level English proficiency, with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing,
  • Valid Class B driver’s license.
