Job summary

Maxwill International seeks a Plant Director for a manufacturing client to oversee all plant activities including production, planning, maintenance, quality, and logistics with emphasis on metal forming and plastics processes.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in home appliances, 5+ years in plant management, strong Lean/Six Sigma expertise, SAP ERP proficiency, and proven leadership of blue- and white-collar teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Industrial/Electrical-Electronics/Metallurgical)
• Minimum 10 years in home appliances industry, with at least 5 years in a Plant Manager role
• Hands-on experience in sheet metal forming, plastic injection molding, coating/enameling, and assembly line technologies
• Strong expertise in Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma, TPM, and SMED applications
• Advanced knowledge of SAP ERP and MS Office
• Fluency in English (written and spoken)
• Strong leadership, crisis management, budget management, and strategic decision-making skills with proven experience managing both blue-collar and white-collar teams

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct all plant activities, including production, planning, maintenance, quality, and logistics
• Drive OEE improvements, minimize downtime, and reduce scrap through line balancing and optimization
• Optimize SMED for mold/die changeover times in plastic injection and sheet metal lines; ensure coating/ enameling efficiency
• Prepare annual plant budget and CAPEX/OPEX plans, maintain cost control, deliver KPI reports
• Lead, motivate, and manage all plant personnel within the facility and organize shift structures
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environment regulations and ISO standards (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001)

Job Description

• Oversee and direct all plant activities, including production (specifically sheet metal, injection, surface treatment/coating/enameling, and assembly), planning, maintenance, quality, and logistics in line with corporate goals.
• Drive OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) improvements across all lines, minimize downtime, and reduce scrap rates through line balancing and optimization.
• Optimize mold/die changeover times (SMED) in plastic injection and sheet metal pressing lines; ensure chemical and thermal process efficiency in coating and enameling shops.
• Prepare the annual plant budget and investment plans (CAPEX/OPEX), maintain strict cost control, and deliver regular KPI reports to top management.
• Lead, motivate, and manage all white‑collar and blue‑collar personnel within the plant, organizing efficient shift structures.
• Guarantee that all manufacturing processes fully comply with HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) regulations, environmental legislation, and ISO quality standards (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001).
