Job summary

Gizli seeks an experienced Factory Operations Manager to lead all factory activities in Konak, Turkey. You will ensure safe, efficient production with high quality while aligning with strategic goals and sustainability targets.

The role requires extensive experience in production planning, capacity management, and Lean initiatives, with strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration to drive performance across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in a related discipline.
• At least 15 years of professional manufacturing experience.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional coordination skills.
• Proven knowledge of production planning, capacity, and operations.
• Experience with quality, health & safety, and standards compliance.
• Ability to monitor KPIs and drive performance improvements.
• Fluent in English.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics, Chemical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline,
• Minimum 15 years of professional experience in manufacturing environments,
• Strong experience in factory management, production operations, and shop-floor management,
• Proven knowledge and experience in production planning, capacity management, and operational processes,
• Experience with quality management systems, occupational health and safety, and operational standards,
• Strong ability to coordinate maintenance, technical operations, and production teams,
• Experience in cost management, budgeting, and productivity improvement initiatives,
• Strong knowledge of process improvement, Lean Manufacturing, and operational excellence practices,
• Ability to effectively monitor, analyze, and manage KPIs and performance indicators,
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills,
• Strong analytical thinking and decision-making capabilities,
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and take full operational responsibility,

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Manage all factory operations in line with the company’s strategic objectives,
• Ensure that production activities are carried out safely, efficiently, with high quality, and in a sustainable manner,
• Ensure production plans are achieved in line with targets and that production capacity is utilized effectively,
• Manage coordination between Production, Quality, Maintenance, Technical Operations, Warehouse, and other relevant functions,
• Monitor and analyze factory performance based on defined KPIs and take necessary corrective actions,
• Develop and implement projects aimed at improving productivity, capacity utilization, and overall operational performance,
• Monitor production costs and lead cost-reduction and productivity improvement initiatives,
• Contribute to the preparation of the annual operational budget and monitor budget performance,
• Ensure the effective execution of machinery, equipment, and facility maintenance processes,
• Ensure full compliance with occupational health and safety standards and company procedures,
• Monitor the implementation of quality standards and operational procedures,
• Lead process improvement and Lean Manufacturing initiatives,
• Identify operational risks and process inefficiencies and initiate the necessary corrective and preventive actions,
• Plan the factory’s workforce requirements and ensure the effective management of teams,
• Monitor employee performance, support employee development, and strengthen employee engagement,
• Provide regular reports to senior management on factory performance, production results, costs, and operational developments,
• Ensure the continuous improvement and sustainable growth of factory operations in line with the company’s strategic objectives.
