Job summary

Our client, a Çorlu-based leading chemical manufacturer, is seeking a Production Engineer to manage and optimize chemical raw material production processes. The role requires 4–5 years of industry experience, BI PU production exposure, and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 4–5 years of proven experience in chemical raw material production and manufacturing processes.
• Experience in PU production is highly preferred.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Training or certification in Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma is preferred.
• Based in Çorlu or willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily production operations and ensure compliance with the production plan.
• Conduct process efficiency, work study, and process improvement activities across production operations.
• Monitor compliance with occupational health and safety requirements and quality standards.
• Develop, optimize, and Commission production processes for new products.
• Plan and utilize workforce, machine capacity, time, and raw materials effectively.
• Monitor key production KPIs (scrap, rework, downtime, efficiency) and drive improvements.
• Perform root causeAnalysis of production problems and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, R&D, Quality, Planning and other teams for smooth operations.
• Contribute to Lean Six Sigma initiatives and shop-floor standardization.

We are looking for a Production Engineer to join our client's manufacturing team and take an active role in managing, improving, and optimizing production processes within the chemical manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor daily production operations and ensure compliance with the production plan.
• Conduct process efficiency, work study, and process improvement activities across production operations.
• Monitor compliance with occupational health and safety requirements and quality standards.
• Take an active role in the development, optimization, and commissioning of production processes for new products.
• Contribute to the effective planning and utilization of workforce, machine capacity, time, and raw materials.
• Monitor key production performance indicators, including scrap, rework, downtime, and production efficiency, and develop improvement actions accordingly.
• Conduct root cause analysis of production-related problems and implement sustainable corrective and preventive actions.
• Work closely with Maintenance, R&D, Quality, Planning, and other relevant teams to ensure smooth and efficient production operations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma initiatives.
• Support the development of the production team and ensure the sustainability of shop-floor standards and best practices.
