Role Summary

We are seeking a Senior Product Designer to lead end-to-end product design across mobile and web platforms. This role requires strong system thinking, advanced interaction and visual design skills, and the ability to translate user and business needs into high-quality, scalable experiences. The Senior Product Designer will maintain and evolve the design system, conduct rigorous user research, collaborate closely with engineering and product stakeholders, and contribute proactively throughout the product development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Design intuitive, accessible, and scalable experiences for mobile and web products across the full product development lifecycle.
• Produce high-fidelity, pixel-precise UI designs and specifications that are ready for development implementation.
• Create prototypes in Figma to validate flows, interactions, and feature concepts when required.
• Conduct heuristic evaluations of existing products and recommend improvements based on established usability principles and product goals.
• Benchmark industry and cross-industry products with the product team to inform design direction, feature quality, and competitive positioning.
• Maintain and continuously improve the design system for both mobile and web, ensuring consistency, scalability, and ease of adoption.
• Define, document, and govern UI patterns, components, tokens, and usage guidelines to support product teams.
• Use Figma variables and tokens effectively to enable scalable theming, consistency across products, and efficient design-to-development handoff.
• Ensure global-ready design standards by maintaining multilingual affordances, including layout flexibility for varying text lengths and localization needs.
• Use Lottie animations effectively to enhance product communication, feedback, and micro-interactions while maintaining performance and accessibility considerations.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Product Designer in mobile and web product environments, with senior-level ownership of complex design problems.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain and evolve a design system for multi-platform products.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken), with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. (This is a must. Yuppo has diverse team members across the globe.)
• Strong collaboration skills with development teams, including the ability to support implementation and ensure design quality.
• Experience performing heuristic evaluations and driving usability improvements for existing products.
• Advanced Figma proficiency, including component libraries, prototyping, auto layout, and design system workflows (including variables and tokens).
• Strong commitment to pixel-perfect outcomes, with high attention to detail and consistency.
• Experience designing global products, including multilingual UX considerations (e.g., localization, content expansion, and layout resilience).
• Ability to use Lottie animations appropriately within product flows and collaborate on implementation constraints.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design work, design systems expertise, and measurable outcomes.
• Solid understanding of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG principles) and inclusive design practices.
• Ability to use data and product analytics to inform design decisions and evaluate impact.
• Experience writing clear documentation (design system guidelines, UX notes, release annotations) to support team scalability.
• Strong understanding of platform conventions (iOS, Android, responsive web) and interaction patterns.
