Responsibilities

Jr. UI / UX Designer — Neon Apps

Based in Istanbul and New York, our 85-member in-house team helps companies turn complex ideas into scalable, production-ready products. We work as a long-term development partner, not a short-term vendor. Over the years, we’ve delivered 550+ applications for 250+ companies, often stepping in when projects need structure, clarity, and experienced execution. We design, build, and maintain products end to end: product strategy, UI/UX design, mobile development, web and SaaS platforms, backend systems, and ongoing support.

What You Will Do

Mobile-First Design: Design clean, modern, and user-friendly interfaces (UI) for both iOS and Android platforms.

User-Centric UX: Create user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes to transform ideas into testable designs.

Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers (PMs) and developers to ensure your designs are implemented flawlessly.

Design Trends: Keep a close eye on the mobile ecosystem and UI/UX trends, bringing fresh perspectives and ideas to Neon Apps projects.

Design Systems: Maintain and update our existing design libraries, ensuring component consistency across projects.

What We Are Looking For

• 1-2 Years of Experience: At least 1-2 years of professional or semi-professional (including internships/freelance) experience in mobile UI/UX design.
• Solid Figma Skills: Practical experience with Figma, with a portfolio demonstrating your grasp of core features like components and auto-layout.
• Passion for Mobile: A strong interest in the mobile app ecosystem, Apple Human Interface Guidelines, and Google Material Design.
• Growth Mindset: Eagerness to learn, openness to receiving and giving constructive feedback, and the ability to iterate quickly.
• An Eye for Visuals: Strong attention to typography, color theory, grid systems, and the use of white space.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with prototyping tools (Figma Prototyping, Principle, etc.).
• A Behance, Dribbble, or personal portfolio that showcases your design process through detailed case studies.
