We are looking for a “Supply Chain Specialist” be based in our Istanbul Office.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or a related technical discipline)
- 3–5 years of expediting, procurement, or supply chain experience, preferably with an EPC contractor in power, oil & gas, or heavy industrial projects
- Working knowledge of equipment and material manufacturing processes (rotating and static equipment, piping and valves, steel structures, cables, electrical, instrumentation packages, etc.)
- Familiarity with incoterms, shipping and customs documentation
- Strong command of written and spoken English; an additional language is an advantage
- Advanced MS Excel skills; experience with SAP or a comparable ERP system
- Well-organized, persistent, and comfortable following up multiple vendors and deadlines in parallel
- Willing and able to travel for vendor shop visits
Responsibilities
- Follow up purchase orders from award through to final delivery at project site, ensuring compliance with contractual delivery dates
- Review and monitor vendor manufacturing and fabrication schedules; identify slippages at an early stage and drive corrective action
- Conduct desk expediting and field expediting; carry out vendor shop visits in Türkiye and abroad as required
- Coordinate with Engineering, Quality (QA/QC), and third-party inspection agencies on vendor document submittals, ITPs, inspection release notes, and final documentation dossiers
- Prepare and issue periodic expediting status reports, critical item lists, and delay escalation notes to Procurement and Project Management
- Interface with Logistics on packing lists, shipping marks, shipping documents, and readiness for dispatch
- Support the Procurement team in resolving commercial and technical issues affecting delivery (change orders, drawing approvals, spare parts, missing documentation)
- Maintain accurate PO and delivery data in the company ERP system and expediting trackers
