Job summary

CoreX Metals & Mining seeks a Senior Procurement Specialist to join our Maslak, Istanbul headquarters. You will manage end-to-end procurement of materials, equipment and services, build supplier networks and drive cost savings with cross‑functional teams.

Fluency in English is required; foreign language skills are a plus. A Bachelor’s in Engineering, Business Administration or SCM and 3–4 years of procurement experience in mining or heavy industry are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 3–4 years procurement experience in mining, manufacturing, or industrial sectors.
• Fluent/professional English required; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement activities for materials, equipment, and services.
• Identify, evaluate, and develop suppliers locally and internationally.
• Obtain and analyze quotations, negotiate prices and terms.
• Monitor market conditions, supplier performance, lead times, and costs.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand purchasing requirements and ensure timely delivery.
• Prepare procurement reports and support supplier visits and negotiations.

We are looking for a Senior Procurement Specialist to be assigned at our headquarters in Maslak, Istanbul, for CoreX Metals & Mining.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.


• Minimum 3–4 years of professional experience in procurement/purchasing, preferably within the mining, manufacturing, construction, energy, or other industrial sectors.


• Fluent/professional working proficiency in English is required.


• Knowledge of a second foreign language, particularly Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Kazakh, or French, will be considered an advantage.


• Strong negotiation, communication, analytical, and supplier relationship management skills.


• Experience in supplier sourcing, quotation management, commercial negotiations, contract management, and procurement processes.


• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and international teams.


• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.


• Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally as required by the role.


• Flexibility to work in different countries in the future, depending on business and operational requirements.


• Proficiency in MS Office applications; familiarity with ERP/procurement systems is an advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand purchasing requirements and ensure timely delivery.


• Manage supplier relationships and contribute to the development of long-term strategic partnerships.


• Ensure procurement activities are conducted in accordance with company policies, procedures, and applicable standards.


• Prepare procurement reports, analyses, and relevant management documentation.


• Participate in supplier visits, negotiations, and business meetings both locally and internationally.


• Support procurement activities and projects across different countries and operations when required.
