Job summary

CCI Türkiye is seeking a Procurement Category Specialist for Direct and/or Indirect Categories to join the Istanbul procurement team. You will support Türkiye, Iraq, and Jordan with sourcing, purchasing, and tender processes to deliver value across the region.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree, 1–3 years in purchasing, and strong Excel/SAP skills, with excellent English and Turkish proficiency. This role requires analytical thinking and effective stakeholder collaboration.

Job Identification

We are now seeking a Procurement Category Specialist for Direct and/or Indirect Categories to be a part of our CCI Türkiye Procurement Team in Istanbul. The main responsibilities and qualifications for the role are shared below:

What We Expect

• Support procurement activities across Türkiye, Iraq, and Jordan, collaborating with local and regional stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of sourcing and purchasing processes.
• Align with internal and external key stakeholders (including CEPG - Cross Enterprise Procurement Group) to drive and ensure the implementation of strategies for the managed commodities.
• Run tenders for the managed categories to negotiate pricing as well as other terms and conditions to achieve annual value targets.
• Conduct supplier research, obtain quotes, and provide samples for designated spend categories.
• Create preferred supplier lists for all managed categories, considering spend, supplier relationship tenure, and pricing trends.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with CCI policies and audit requirements.
• Maintain effective utilization of eProcurement tools available within CCI.
• Prepare reliable and sustainable cost-saving projects, examine and submit agreements related to locally agreed pricing issues, and actively participate in central contracting processes.
• Develop sourcing alternatives in line with business needs to continuously introduce new local and global suppliers into the system. Take an active role in resolving supplier-related issues such as quality and delivery concerns. Evaluate supplier performance and conduct periodic supplier site visits.
• Utilize reporting and analytics to drive key strategies and decisions for the category group.
• Monitor industry trends and evolving technologies to proactively identify supply base issues, minimize risks, protect continuity of supply, and capitalize on opportunities that benefit CCI.
• Identify and develop alternative suppliers in line with Group Procurement strategy and create contingency plans. Work with BUs following Group Procurement team approvals to ensure smooth supplier induction.
• Ensure suppliers are aligned with Coca-Cola and CCI sustainability targets and are SGP-approved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree is a must (preferably in Social Sciences, Business Administration and Engineering)
• 1-3 years of experience in purchasing
• Advanced level of Excel skills, SAP knowledge is preferred
• Advanced level of English and Turkish is a must
• Strong analytical abilities
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Experience in building and maintaining effective internal customer and supplier relationships
• Strong multitasking and effective time management skills
• Knowledge of cost structures and financial impacts
