Native Teams Limited is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage payroll for our international clients, with initial focus on Turkey. This remote role ensures employees are paid accurately and on time while maintaining compliant records.

You will coordinate with clients, local partners, and internal teams to ensure data accuracy, reporting, and smooth payroll operations, while staying updated on Turkish regulations. Strong English and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Turkish payroll experience.
• Knowledge of economics, accounting and financial concepts.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Strong written and spoken English; analytical and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end payroll for multiple clients, focusing on Turkey.
• Prepare and reconcile payroll reports and maintain records.
• Collect, verify and enter payroll data with accuracy.
• Stay updated on Turkey tax and payment regulations; coordinate with local accountants.
• Provide timely payroll support to clients and internal teams.
• Collaborate across Customer Experience, Accounting and Operations to resolve discrepancies.

About the Role

You will be responsible for managing payroll for our international clients (primarily in Turkey). Your goal is to ensure employees receive their salaries, benefits, and reports on time and without errors. You will coordinate with clients, local partners, and internal teams to provide smooth, end-to-end payroll services.

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-end payroll: Manage payroll for multiple clients, focusing first on Turkey, and ensure data flows smoothly between clients and payroll partners.
• Reporting & record-keeping: Prepare and reconcile payroll reports, keeping detailed and accurate records.
• Data validation: Collect, verify, and enter payroll data. Check for inaccuracies in inputs and outputs, and follow up to correct issues.
• Compliance & research: Stay updated on tax and payment regulations in Turkey (and other assigned countries). Work with local accountants to meet all legal requirements.
• Client support: Build professional relationships with clients, responding to payroll questions promptly and meeting agreed timelines.
• Cross-team collaboration: Work with Customer Experience, Accounting, Operations, and other teams to gather payroll inputs, fix discrepancies, and offer support.

Requirements:

• Professional background: Minimum 2 years of relevant Turkish payroll experience (global payroll exposure is a plus). Knowledge of payroll best practices.
• Education: Knowledge of economics, accounting and other financial concepts.
• Technical skills: Proficiency in MS Office (particularly Excel & Word).
• Soft skills: Excellent written and spoken English; strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently; ability to adapt to a fast-paced, international work environment.
