We are looking for a Payroll & Budget Chief who will play a key role in advancing our human resources capabilities.
What We're Looking For:
- University degree from a relevant department,
- At least 7 years of experience in payroll, personnel affairs, and personnel cost management,
- Fluent English proficiency,
- Preferably experienced in team management,
- Strong knowledge of Turkish Labor Law No. 4857, Social Security Law No. 5510, and relevant payroll legislation,
- Proven experience in gross-up calculations for net salaries,
- Experience in preparing Withholding Tax and Premium Service Declarations
- Strong experience in payroll calculations and statutory reporting processes,
- Extensive experience in net salary and personnel budgeting, cost analysis, and reporting,
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel,
- Very good knowledge and hands-on experience with SuccessFactors and SAP,
- Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills,
- Detail-oriented, results-driven, with strong follow-up and organizational skills,
- Excellent communication and coordination skills,
- Ability to work effectively under a high-pressure environment and manage peak-period workloads.
What You Will Do:
- Manage monthly payroll preparation, control, and approval processes in compliance with applicable legislation and regulations.
- Ensure the timely and accurate preparation and submission of SGK, tax, unemployment insurance, and other statutory declarations.
- Manage processes related to employee onboarding and offboarding, leave, medical reports, overtime, bonuses, benefits, and personnel administration.
- Manage the Monthly Tax and Social Security Premium Service Declaration processes and coordinate relations with relevant government authorities.
- Analyze personnel costs on a monthly basis, compare actual costs against budgeted costs, and perform variance analyses.
- Lead the preparation, monitoring, forecasting, and revision of the annual personnel budget.
- Develop budget scenarios related to headcount, personnel expenses, salary increases, employee benefits, and other workforce-related costs.
- Compare actual personnel expenses against budget and forecasts and prepare regular management reports.
- Work closely with the Finance Department to prepare payroll and personnel cost reports related to month-end closing processes.
- Prepare periodic payroll, headcount, personnel cost, and budget reports for management, HR, and relevant stakeholders.
- Support the preparation of HR metrics, KPIs, and analytical reports.
- Conduct data analyses and financial impact assessments related to personnel costs, compensation, and employee benefits.
- Monitor Labor Law, Social Security legislation, tax regulations, and relevant legislative changes to ensure ongoing compliance and process updates.
- Actively participate in projects aimed at improving payroll, budgeting, and reporting processes, and develop recommendations to increase process efficiency.
- Ensure effective coordination between HR and Finance teams to maintain the accuracy, efficiency, and sustainability of payroll, budgeting, and reporting processes.
