Job summary

Trendyol Operations is seeking a capable operations strategist to drive strategic priorities across departments, lead impactful projects, and optimize processes through data, technology, and benchmarking.

You will own KPI setting, targets, long-term modelling, and expansion plans, while contributing to the AI agenda. The role offers a hybrid working model, extensive learning opportunities, and collaboration with a diverse, international team.

Qualifications

• University degree preferably in Engineering, Economics, Management,
• 3 - 5 years of e-commerce, consulting or equivalent work experience preferred,
• Strong experience in interpreting both quantitative and qualitative results of analyses, believing data is the most powerful tool for informed decision-making,
• Highly analytical and comfortable with complex business problems and decision, creative problem solver who thrives with ambiguity,
• Comfortable with the big picture as well as small details with a sense of analytical thinking, detail-orientation and eagerness to learn with agile mindset,
• Passionate to working with multiple stakeholders and excellent communicator who can build relationships with a diverse set of stakeholders - numbers are key, but business can only be built with people,
• Excellent command of gsheet/excel, good command of BI tools, curious about AI tools and how they can be applied to business problems,
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and Turkish,
• Open to direct feedback culture, prone to constant learning, taking initiative and not avoiding responsibility, self-motivated, highly adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-changing and fluid environment

Responsibilities

• Partner with all operation departments on strategic topics and operational priorities
• Own strategic planning agenda of operations: KPI setting, target revisions, long-term modelling and expansion plans
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and strategies with technology by benchmarking and best practices
• Contribute to the AI agenda across operations: exploring where AI can add value and bringing ideas to life
• Lead and/or support ops projects and manage scope and requirements for all stakeholders
• Monitor key performance metrics and execute project plans to improve business processes
• Design analyses and models to identify challenges and solutions for decision making
