Job summary

ZF Izmir is seeking an IT System Administrator to manage complex infrastructure, coordinate significant changes, and ensure high availability and security. You will work with global teams to deliver reliable IT services and provide guidance to colleagues.

The role requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT/CS/Engineering, fluency in English and Turkish, and hands-on experience with backup, disaster recovery, and security practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Advanced knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, networks, security, availability, and service continuity.
• Experience resolving complex incidents, conducting root-cause analysis, and preventing recurring problems.
• Ability to take operational ownership of assigned systems, services, or infrastructure domains.
• Experience coordinating significant changes, problem-resolution activities, and advanced technical improvements.
• Fluent in English and Turkish; knowledge of security audits (e.g., TISAX, ISMS) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical support and resolve complex incidents affecting local IT services.
• Coordinate incident resolution, root-cause analysis, problem management, and significant infrastructure changes.
• Take operational ownership of selected infrastructure systems and services to ensure stable, reliable operation.
• Identify recurring technical issues and define permanent corrective and preventive actions.
• Design and implement improvements related to backup, redundancy, capacity, disaster recovery, and service continuity.
• Coordinate security activities, including vulnerability remediation, patch prioritisation, access controls, and security incident response.
• Evaluate, test, and implement advanced infrastructure solutions and major technical improvements.
• Provide technical guidance to less experienced team members and coordinate work with stakeholders and suppliers.
