Job summary

Baykar in Istanbul, Türkiye, seeks a Senior IT Administrator to oversee our growing technology infrastructure on site. You will lead the IT team, manage servers, networks, and security, and ensure scalable, reliable operations across all locations.

The role requires strategic IT planning, vendor coordination, and governance implementation (ITIL/COBIT). Strong English, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), and cloud experience are essential to drive Baykar’s digital enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Software Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in IT with at least 2 in management.
• Knowledge of network administration, server infrastructure, virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), and cloud solutions (Azure, AWS).
• Experience with security technologies (Firewall, VPN, NAC, etc.).
• Experience in IT project management methodologies and IT governance frameworks (ITIL, COBIT).
• Strong leadership, communication, and time management skills.
• Proficient in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the company’s IT strategy.
• Manage server, network, security, and backup systems.
• Identify software, hardware, and licensing needs.
• Lead and develop the IT team.
• Establish and monitor information security policies.
• Ensure the scalability and sustainability of IT processes across all company locations.
• Coordinate with vendors and third-party service providers to ensure alignment with company objectives and IT needs.
