Job summary

Wlgroup is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to support a live data centre environment from Izmir. You will install, configure and maintain infrastructure services, manage virtualization with VMware, and ensure security, backups, and patching are current.

Competence in Windows AD, SQL/Oracle, and ITIL practices is essential. You will work on cross‑unit collaboration, take on incident and problem tickets, and occasionally support a second site.

Qualifications

• Higher vocational training or equivalent with relevant infrastructure experience.
• Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, DHCP and domain naming.
• Hands-on infrastructure management and capacity planning.
• Experience with VMware virtualization and SAN/storage environments.

Responsibilities

• Provision, install, configure and maintain infrastructure services and components.
• Monitor and report on infrastructure load, performance and security events.
• Support hosted systems and clear alerts across server room, storage network and servers.
• Manage virtual infrastructure including VMware and SAN switches.
• Maintain Windows core directory services and policies.
• Manage updates and patching for Windows and Linux systems.
• Administer databases and troubleshoot deployments.
• Administer mail servers and assist backup/recovery solutions.
• Coordinate daily work with other technical units and service lines.
• Tackle project work packages and resolve incident tickets.
