Job summary

ZF is seeking an IT System Administrator for our Sakarya Arifiye site. This on-site, full-time role drives complex infrastructure support, incident resolution, and strategic improvements to ensure high availability and security of local IT services.

You will coordinate changes with global teams and suppliers, provide guidance to junior staff, and contribute to disaster recovery and service continuity initiatives while shaping the future of mobility with a leading global tech company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Advanced knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, networks, security, availability, and service continuity.
• Proven experience in resolving complex incidents and root-cause analysis.
• Ability to own and operate assigned systems and infrastructure domains.
• Experience coordinating significant changes and security improvements.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and coordination skills.
• Security audits experience (e.g. TISAX, ISMS) and knowledge of AI solutions.
• Fluent in English and Turkish.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical support and resolve complex incidents affecting the availability, performance, or security of local IT services.
• Coordinate incident resolution, root-cause analysis, problem management, and significant infrastructure changes within the domain.
• Take operational ownership of selected infrastructure systems and services, ensuring stable, reliable, and secure operation.
• Identify recurring technical issues and define permanent corrective and preventive actions.
• Design and implement improvements related to backup, redundancy, capacity, disaster recovery, and service continuity.
• Coordinate security activities, including vulnerability remediation, patch prioritisation, access controls, and security incident response.
• Evaluate, test, and implement advanced infrastructure solutions and major technical improvements.
• Provide technical guidance to less experienced team members and coordinate work with business stakeholders, global teams, and external suppliers with comprehensive documentation.
