Job summary

Honda Türkiye A.Ş. is seeking an engineer to support new model and model year changes at the production plant in Turkey. You will plan the arrival of trial parts and coordinate with Purchasing, Logistics, and Production to ensure smooth handovers and certification vehicle production.

The role requires CAD experience (CATIA/SolidWorks), strong English skills, and familiarity with MS Office applications. Motorcycle interest is a plus in this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial Design, Automotive preferred).
• Excellent command of English (both written and spoken).
• 2D drawings & 3D CAD models (CATIA, SolidWorks) knowledge.
• MS Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Active motorcycle riding experience or interest in motorcycles is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support and assist processes of new model and model year change projects within the production plant.
• Planning the arrival of trial parts and coordinate with Purchasing, Logistics, Material Supply and Production.
• Planning and support the production of the certification vehicle, ensuring compliance with type approval requirements.
• Planning the project timeline for trial vehicles production and report progress.
• Prepare and update process documents and technical spec sheet data required for mass production.
• Support the development and implementation of production processes, equipment, and workflow improvements for new models.
• Prepare regular reports and project status presentations for management reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial Design, Automotive preferred).
• Proficiency in MS Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Full‑vehicle understanding: Powertrain, frame, suspension (front forks, rear shock), braking systems, electrical & electronics (ECU, sensors, wiring harness), emission & exhaust systems. (Preferably motorcycles.)
• Excellent command of English (both written and spoken).
• 2D drawings & 3D CAD models (CATIA, SolidWorks) knowledge.
• Cost breakdown understanding (BOM level).
• Knowledge of performance testing, quality testing, environmental & reliability tests, root cause analysis of test failures, countermeasure development & verification.
• Knowledge of metals, plastics, rubber, composites, welding, casting, forging, machining, surface treatments & coatings.
• B Class driving license.
• Good command of Japanese is desirable.
• Active motorcycle riding experience or interest in motorcycles is considered an asset.
