Job summary

Borusan Boru is seeking a manufacturing engineer to coordinate production and maintenance, ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and safety. You will lead root-cause analysis, monitor KPIs, and guide TPM/OEE studies while collaborating with operations and external stakeholders.

The role involves developing clear procedures, training staff, and driving cross-functional improvements in processes and equipment. A bachelor’s in mechanical engineering and 1–3 years’ experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing industries.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma projects.
• Experience in management of CAPEX projects.
• Analytical thinking, result oriented, fast in action but with detailed planning.
• Ability to work with operations personnel and external shareholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates manufacturing processes and maintenance to meet quality, cost and efficiency targets.
• Ensures activities comply with standards and regulations, supports safety initiatives.
• Solves complex production problems via root cause analysis with cross-functional teams.
• Monitors and manages KPI targets.
• Collects and analyzes downtime data (TPM and OEE) for improvements.
• Develops procedures and trains operations personnel.
• Leads continuous improvement projects for processes and equipment.
• Supports quality studies on defects and variations.
• Reports to management with documented progress across production phases.
• R&D actions for product and process development.
• Coordinates with quality departments to align processes.
• Generates solutions for manufacturing process issues.

• Ensures all activities are performed in compliance with company standards and regulations and helps drive the safety environment,
• Solves complex production problems through root cause analysis collaborating with cross functional teams,
• Monitors and manages KPI targets,
• Collects and analyses statistical data of process downtime in the manufacturing such as TPM and OEE studies,
• Develops detailed but understandable production and maintenance procedures for those with a limited technical background and provides training to operations personnel,

• Reports to management with systematic documentation for each phase of production periodically,
• R&D actions for the development of products and process,
• Ensuring the necessary coordination in the combined business processes with quality departments,
