Job summary

Eaton is seeking a MV Pre-order Quotation Leader to head the Medium Voltage Pre-order team across the EMEA region, driving competitive, technically compliant and profitable offers. You'll collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Product Management, and Supply Chain to ensure winning customer solutions.

This role blends technical expertise, commercial acumen, and leadership to deliver high-quality quotations, manage risk, and support successful project execution through clear handovers and coaching

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years in quotation, tendering, bid management, or commercial roles within the electrical power distribution industry.
• Strong knowledge of Medium Voltage switchgear, applications, and power distribution systems.
• Expertise in bid strategy, pricing, risk assessment, and commercial decision-making.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Lead the MV Pre-order team, ensuring accurate, competitive, and timely quotations.
• Drive opportunity qualification, Bid/No-Bid decisions, bid strategy, pricing, and deal approvals.
• Ensure quotations are technically compliant, commercially sound, and aligned with growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction objectives.
• Identify and mitigate technical, commercial, contractual, and execution risks throughout the quotation process.
• Monitor quotation performance, margins, win rates, and delivery timelines.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to develop customer-focused solutions and support successful project execution through effective handover of key assumptions, commitments, and risks.
• Coach and develop team members, building technical, commercial, and leadership capabilities while supporting succession planning.
