Job summary

Eaton Corporation is seeking an MV Pre-order Quotation Leader to head the Medium Voltage Pre-order team across the EMEA region. You will drive competitive, technically compliant, profitable offers and collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Product Management, and Operations to deliver winning customer solutions.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, 7+ years in quotation/bid management, strong MV switchgear knowledge, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years in quotation, tendering, bid management, or commercial roles within the electrical power distribution industry.
• Strong knowledge of Medium Voltage switchgear, applications, and power distribution systems.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Lead the MV Pre-order team, ensuring accurate, competitive, and timely quotations.
• Drive opportunity qualification, Bid/No-Bid decisions, bid strategy, pricing, and deal approvals.
• Ensure quotations are technically compliant, commercially sound, and aligned with growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction objectives.
• Identify and mitigate technical, commercial, contractual, and execution risks throughout the quotation process.
• Monitor quotation performance, margins, win rates, and delivery timelines.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to develop customer-focused solutions and support successful project execution through effective handover of key assumptions, commitments, and risks.
• Coach and develop team members, building technical, commercial, and leadership capabilities while supporting succession planning.
