Job summary

Koton is a global fashion brand seeking a senior sourcing and production leader to manage supplier relationships and optimize costs.

The role focuses on overseeing end-to-end garment production, ensuring on-time delivery and quality, while expanding supplier networks and negotiating favorable terms with suppliers in China and beyond. International travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years in apparel sourcing and production.
• Experience in sourcing knitted, woven, and knitwear from international markets, especially in China.
• Strong network of local manufacturers and suppliers.
• Proven background in supplier management, negotiations and cost optimization.
• Experience establishing, developing and managing production operations.
• Willing to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop an existing portfolio of suppliers in China, and build new supplier relationships.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and other commercial conditions.
• Monitor end-to-end production processes from order placement to shipment, ensuring schedules, quality standards, and quantity targets.
• Ensure that ordered products are delivered on time and meet the required quality standards.
• Coordinate and actively participate in finished garment purchasing and production processes.

What You’ll Do

• Manage and develop an existing portfolio of suppliers in China, while identifying and establishing relationships with new suppliers.
• Conduct negotiations with suppliers regarding pricing, payment terms, and other commercial conditions.
• Monitor end-to-end production processes, from order placement to shipment, ensuring compliance with delivery schedules, quality standards, and quantity targets.
• Ensure that ordered products are delivered on time and meet the required quality standards.
• Coordinate and actively participate in finished garment purchasing and production processes.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Textile Engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in apparel sourcing and production,
• Experience in sourcing and purchasing knitted, woven, and knitwear apparel products from international markets, particularly in China,
• Strong network of local manufacturers and suppliers,
• Solid background in international supplier management, commercial negotiations and cost optimization,
• Proven experience in establishing, developing and managing production operations,
• Advanced proficiency in English,
• Strong leadership, relationship management and organizational skills,
• Have no restrictions on international travel and be available to travel.
