Job summary

Gizli is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our head office team, overseeing maintenance and repair of HVAC, refrigeration, and plumbing systems for airport-based restaurant and café operations across locations.

The candidate should have a mechanical engineering degree, strong planning and communication skills, and experience with maintenance systems. English proficiency and familiarity with MS Office are preferred in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in mechanical maintenance and repair in food & beverage or multi-site operations preferred.
• Knowledge of HVAC, industrial kitchen equipment, refrigeration, and plumbing systems.
• Strong planning, coordination, and multi-operation management skills.
• Proficiency in English encouraged.
• Proficient in MS Office; familiar with maintenance management systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate maintenance and repair of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, refrigeration) for airport-based outlets from the head office.
• Create periodic maintenance plans for all locations; monitor implementation and ensure ISO audits and fire safety compliance.
• Evaluate field failure notices; coordinate with teams to develop fast and permanent solutions.
• Monitor mechanical system performance; implement energy efficiency and continuity improvements.
• Carry out reporting and documentation; support budgeting and cost control.

Job Description:

• Planning and coordinating the maintenance and repair processes of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, refrigeration systems, etc.) for airport-based restaurant and café operations from the head office.
• Creating periodic maintenance plans for all locations, monitoring the implementation of these plans, overseeing ISO audit processes, ensuring system compliance with the new fire safety regulations, and ensuring that all processes are carried out in accordance with procedures.
• Evaluating failure notifications from the field, coordinating with relevant teams, and developing fast and permanent solutions.
• Monitoring mechanical system performance and developing and implementing improvement projects in terms of energy efficiency and operational continuity.
• Carrying out reporting and documentation activities related to maintenance, failure, and technical processes; supporting budget and cost control.
