Key Responsibilities
- Research and analyze the technical characteristics, application areas, and manufacturing process impacts of TPE, rubber, textile, and other main and critical raw materials.
- Support the definition of material specifications for new products, materials, and process requirements in coordination with relevant technical departments.
- Participate in the development of new and alternative raw materials in line with internal and external customer requirements and follow the process through to serial production.
- Research alternative materials and suppliers in domestic and international markets and support their technical and commercial evaluation.
- Collect quotations from suppliers and prepare comparative analyses based on price, technical suitability, quality, lead time, and cost criteria.
- Contribute to cost reduction and localization projects for existing and alternative materials.
- Support new supplier evaluation, sampling, technical approval, and implementation processes in coordination with relevant departments.
- Monitor market developments related to materials, technologies, suppliers, and pricing and prepare relevant analyses.
- Analyze TPE, rubber, and textile manufacturing processes, including process parameters, machinery and equipment, and material-process interactions.
- Participate in process improvement and optimization activities focusing on efficiency, quality, cost, and cycle time.Support root cause analysis and permanent corrective action activities for technical problems encountered in manufacturing processes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement, cost reduction, process standardization, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and SMED activities.
- Support takt time, cycle time, lead time, and other relevant process and time analyses.
- Participate in efficiency improvement activities related to TPE, rubber, and textile production lines, machinery, and equipment.
- Support the technical evaluation of new machinery, equipment, molds, fixtures, and apparatus, including the identification of technical requirements and alternative suppliers.
- Research new technologies, machinery, equipment, materials, and manufacturing methods and contribute to technical and economic feasibility studies.
- Follow production trials during new product and material introduction processes and support the evaluation and improvement of process results.
- Prepare technical and commercial comparisons, feasibility studies, and cost analyses related to materials, suppliers, processes, and investments.
- Monitor assigned activities in accordance with project plans and the Masterplan and report progress and results.
- Work closely with Purchasing, Production, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to identify improvement opportunities across the entire process, from raw material sourcing to manufacturing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Textile Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Recent graduate or preferably 0–2 years of professional experience.
- Good command of English.
- Strong interest in manufacturing, material technologies, technical purchasing, and production processes.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate technical and commercial data together.
- Strong numerical analysis and problem-solving skills.
