Job summary

Eaton Group is seeking a Manufacturing Scheduler to align weekly production with capacity and translate it into hourly/daily plans. You will level load production, coordinate with multiple functions, and support CI efforts to improve throughput and on-time delivery.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years in manufacturing or supply chain, with English at least at B1 level. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

• Communicate with cross-functional teams including Customer Service, Engineering, Quality, Operations and Purchasing.
• Support development and implementation of scheduling procedures and standard work; participate in CI activities.
• Schedule work orders on a shift basis and compare against actual data to reduce deviations.
• Oversee inventory accuracy by managing cycle count activities.

What you'll do:

Manufacturing Schedulers are the primary task of production planners is to align the weekly production plan with the facility's internal production capacity and then convert this into an hourly/daily operational plan.

The Manufacturing Scheduler is responsible for level loading daily production plans through analyzing resource capacity and other constraints to optimize throughput, while minimizing manufacturing cycle time, inventory, and achieving on-time delivery goals.

The Manufacturing Schedulers must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills through effective communication and coordination with multiple functional groups (including Operation, Customer Service, Finance, and Purchasing). In this function you will:

Direct daily workflow (WIP - "work in process") through analysis of reports and input from cross-functional teams as well as the critical ratio tool.

Aligns and sets priorities for resources and shared resources across factory to maximize efficiency and material flow to ensure customer ship schedules on time.

Works with SCM planners for daily parts/material information to analyze and establish dates to meet and exceed customer delivery requirements via planning or exchange offering.

Communicate with cross-functional teams including: Customer Service, Engineering, Quality, Operations and Purchasing.

Assist in the development and implementation of procedures and techniques which will improve the scheduling function. - Actively participate in CI activities and process improvement also creating/adhering to standard work.

Work orders are planned on a shift basis, evaluated with actual data, and deviations are eliminated.

Managing departmental cycle count teams and monitoring actions to improve inventory accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment or supply chain.
• At least B1-level English proficiency.

Skills:

• Thorough knowledge of industry, complex machined materials management, lean manufacturing, MRP/ERP
• Excellent communication skills at all levels of the organization (customers, marketing, engineering, quality, and manufacturing) is key.
• Desire to work in a collaborative environment with strong ability to take action and get results.
• Ability to quickly analyze, identify and implement opportunities and corporate initiatives for improvement that have a measurable impact each year.
• To be able to use problem-solving techniques effectively.
• Change management skills a plus
