Job summary

Gizli is seeking a Management Systems Engineer to join the Management Systems & Environment team and support the development, implementation and effectiveness of our Integrated Management Systems across production, mining, energy, maintenance and other functions.

You will coordinate audits, manage documentation, monitor non-conformities and help drive continuous improvement, risk management and sustainable performance in a complex industrial environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Chemical & Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001, ISO 46001, ISO 27001, ISO/IEC 17025 and BRCGS.
  • Experience with Integrated Management Systems, internal auditing, certification processes, CAPA/non-conformity management and document control.
  • Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) methods is an advantage.
  • Strong command of written and spoken English; strong analytical thinking, problem-solving and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams across both office and operational/site environments.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, confidentiality and professional ethics.

Responsibilities

  • Support implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of Integrated Management Systems (including BRCGS, ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 50001, 46001, 27001, 17025).
  • Coordinate internal and external audits, certification and surveillance audits; follow up on findings and improvements.
  • Coordinate Management Review Meetings, prepare reports and monitor actions through to completion.
  • Manage creation, revision, approval, distribution and control of management system documentation, procedures and records.
  • Monitor non-conformities, corrective actions and improvement initiatives with timely follow-up and closure.
  • Support process owners in identifying and monitoring process-based risks and opportunities.
  • Contribute to stakeholder analyses and organisational context in cooperation with relevant functions.
  • Coordinate relations with certification bodies and external auditors.
  • Monitor applicable requirements related to management systems and food/feed regs and standards.
  • Support training activities related to management systems.
  • Strengthen a culture of quality, safety, environmental responsibility, energy and water efficiency.

Job description

We are looking for a Management Systems Engineer to join our Management Systems & Environment team and support the continuous development, implementation and effectiveness of our Integrated Management Systems.

This role offers the opportunity to work across a broad range of management system disciplines and collaborate closely with production, mining, energy, maintenance, HSE, environment, quality, laboratory and other business functions.

Key Responsibilities

Support the implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of the company’s Integrated Management Systems, including BRCGS, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001, ISO 46001, ISO 27001 and ISO/IEC 17025.

Coordinate and support internal and external audits, certification and surveillance audits, and follow up on identified findings and improvement opportunities.

Coordinate Management Review Meetings, prepare relevant reports and monitor actions and decisions through to completion.

Manage and coordinate the creation, revision, approval, distribution and control of management system documentation, procedures and records.

Support the development and monitoring of company policies, objectives and performance indicators related to management systems.

Plan and support management systems training activities where required.

Work closely with operational and support functions to strengthen a culture of quality, safety, environmental responsibility, energy efficiency, water efficiency and continuous improvement.

Support the resolution and follow-up of findings identified during management system, customer and certification audits.

Represent the Management Systems function in internal and external meetings when required.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Chemical & Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Knowledge and/or practical experience in one or more of the following standards is highly preferred: ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001, ISO 46001, ISO 27001, ISO/IEC 17025 and BRCGS.
  • Experience with Integrated Management Systems, internal auditing, certification processes, CAPA/non-conformity management and document control is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) methods is an advantage.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving and organisational skills.
  • Effective communication, coordination and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams across both office and operational/site environments.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, confidentiality and professional ethics.
  • Ability to represent the company effectively when interacting with certification bodies, auditors and other external stakeholders.
