Job summary

Aliée Istanbul, part of the Tersane Istanbul property, is seeking a dynamic Duty Manager to lead daily hotel operations across departments during shifts. You will act as on-duty management representative, uphold brand standards, and ensure seamless guest service.

The ideal candidate has a hospitality degree, minimum 3 years in luxury hotel operations, excellent English, and proven leadership and problem-solving skills to handle guest requests with tact and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in hotel operations, preferably in a Duty Manager or supervisory role.
• Fluent English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of hotel operations and interdepartmental coordination.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to make effective decisions under pressure and manage priorities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily hotel operations during assigned shifts.
• Act as management representative on duty; ensure policy and brand standards.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and handle requests, feedback, and complaints promptly.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Engineering, Security, and other departments.
• Conduct regular operational inspections to meet standards.
• Monitor VIP arrivals and personalized guest preferences.
• Make timely decisions addressing operational challenges and service recovery.
• Ensure accurate shift handovers and communication of updates.
• Support implementation and continuous improvement of service standards.
• Prepare operational reports and document incidents and guest concerns.
