Job summary

Alshaya Group in Turkey seeks a Quality Assurance Intern to join its Supply Chain & Procurement team. You will support audits, implementations of standards, and documentation for internal and 3rd party audits in retail stores.

The role offers exposure to food safety, GMP, and HACCP practices, with a focus on quality management and collaboration across store operations and teams.

Qualifications

• Food Eng or related dept, 3rd/4th year university student.
• Available to work minimum 3 days and maximum 5 days per week.
• Must have school-provided insurance.
• Interested in food safety, quality management and retail operations.
• Good command of written and spoken English; strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Support local quality and food safety audits conducted for stores.
• Support the implementation and follow-up of global standards in stores.
• Assist with preparation and follow-up of documents for internal and 3rd party audits.
• Support preparation of periodic quality and food safety reports.
• Track legal requirements and regulatory updates under team supervision.
• Support pest control management processes and related documentation.
• Assist with quality and food safety document preparation and organization.
• Support store operations and relevant teams on quality and food safety processes.
• Take part in quality improvement projects and other operational activities.

• Supporting the team in daily quality and food safety operations while gaining practical experience in the retail food industry.
