Job summary

Alshaya Group in Turkey is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join the Supply Chain & Procurement department. The role focuses on evaluating suppliers across Eurasia, conducting audits for Starbucks Turkey suppliers, and ensuring compliance with Alshaya standards and local regulations.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, and QA systems, with excellent English and communication skills. Travel is expected as part of supplier audits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in food industry QA/retail QA preferred.
• Strong understanding of GMPs, SOPs, HACCP and audits.
• Experience with QA Management Systems is an asset.
• Knowledge of local and global food safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and qualify suppliers in Eurasia across non-food and food-contact categories; conduct audits.
• Review and approve supplier audit reports and test results; follow up on corrective actions.
• Conduct risk-based audits; plan product testing and monitor corrective actions.
• Manage product specs for Starbucks Eurasia and Hospitality; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide regulatory guidance to Import team during product approvals and import processes.
• Investigate product-related customer feedback; identify supplier improvements and coordinate actions.
• Review and approve products and labels for regulatory and brand compliance.
• Ensure products meet legal, brand, quality, and food safety standards.
