Job summary

Intertek Turkey is seeking a Reporting Team Leader for the Food Laboratory team. You will supervise the daily workflow of the team, ensure timely and accurate reporting, and coordinate with customers to deliver quality results.

The ideal candidate has a science degree, 3+ years in a food laboratory, strong leadership and communication skills, and familiarity with LIMS and ISO/IEC 17025. Turkish residence on the European side is preferred.

Qualifications

• University degree in Food Technology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Food Engineering or related fields.
• At least 3 years of experience in a food laboratory.
• Familiar with GGBS processes.
• Knowledge of TS EN ISO/IEC 17025 quality system.
• Proficient in reporting and sample acceptance processes.
• Proficient with Office applications.
• Basic English proficiency.
• Strong leadership and team management and communication skills.
• Analytical thinking with planning and organizational ability.
• Open to development; attentive, organized and responsible.
• Male candidates with completed military service preferred.
• Resident on the European side of Istanbul.

Responsibilities

• Ensure tasks in the food lab section are completed on time and correctly.
• Produce reports correctly, completely, and per quality standards.
• Ensure reports reach the customer.
• Check quotations, requests, and reports and take corrective actions.
• Archive reports correctly and track document revisions.
• Coordinate and monitor daily workflow of team members.
• Monitor LIMS processes and ensure team usage.
• Maintain data for KPI reporting.
• Inform team about compliance with food regulations.
• Participate in audits by Ministry and accreditation bodies.
• Engage in activities to increase customer satisfaction and communicate when needed.
• Ensure laboratory safety and disciplinary rule compliance.

• Graduates of universities with degrees in Food Technology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Food Engineering, or related fields
• At least 3 years of experience in a food laboratory
• Proficient in GGBS processes
• Knowledgeable about the TS EN ISO/IEC 17025 quality management system
• Proficient in reporting processes; knowledgeable about sample acceptance processes
• Proficient in using Office programs
• Basic level of English proficiency
• Advanced leadership and team management skills, strong communication skills

• Preferably male candidates who have completed their military service

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Ensure that tasks in the food laboratory section under his/her responsibility are completed on time and correctly.

• Effectively monitor LIMS processes and ensure their use by the team
• Maintain the necessary data for KPI data
• Inform the team about compliance with food regulations
• Play an active role in audits related to the Ministry and accreditation bodies
• Engage in activities that increase customer satisfaction and communicate with customers when necessary
• Ensure compliance with laboratory safety and disciplinary rules.
