Job summary

Wärtsilä Corporation in Istanbul (Turkey) is seeking a Superintendent Engineer to lead field service activities for our marine and energy customers. You’ll take end-to-end ownership of on-site overhauls, repairs and troubleshooting, guiding teams to perform at their best in diverse site conditions.

You must be fluent in Turkish and English, willing to travel up to 80%, and capable of delivering clear communication, timely reports and compliant service under QSHE guidelines.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Marine Engineering.
• Strong leadership and hands-on field experience.
• Excellent communication and teamwork in multicultural environments.
• Willingness to travel up to 80% and work at varied sites.
• Fluent in Turkish and English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Perform field service activities according to the work plan.
• Lead teams and projects with hands-on field leadership.
• Perform overhauls and repairs on-site and in workshops.
• Interact professionally with customers during work execution.
• Provide progress updates and deliver Service Work Reports.
• Ensure work complies with QSHE guidelines and site procedures.
• Travel up to 80% and coordinate with stakeholders.
