Job summary

Beko Corporate is seeking a Lead Engineer– R&D (Thermodynamics & System-Based Modelling) to join our Central R&D team. You will lead development of advanced vapor compression system models, calibrate them with experimental data, and guide design optimization for heating and cooling applications.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in thermodynamics, strong modeling skills in Python/C++, and experience with Modelica/Dymola and GT-SUITE.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in thermodynamics/heat transfer for cooling systems.
• Strong knowledge of thermodynamics and heat and mass transfer.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine system-level models for vapor compression heating and cooling.
• Calibrate and validate models against experimental data to support performance prediction and design optimization.
• Prepare test plans for compressors and heat exchangers.
• Conduct experimental and numerical studies to improve thermal system performance and energy efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to share results and drive innovation.
