Job summary

Beko Europe is seeking a Senior Lead Engineer– R&D (Hardware Design) to join the Hardware Technology Team in Istanbul. You will define global hardware requirements, design for new-generation devices, and ensure robust, well-documented hardware solutions that meet safety and EMC standards.

The role requires 9+ years in hardware design, expertise in MMPS/PS, digital/analog circuits, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 9 years of hardware design experience.
• Experience in designing Switch Mode Power Supply (AC-DC, DC-DC).
• Experience in designing digital and analog circuits.
• Strong knowledge of MCU/MPU selection and peripherals.
• Design and analysis experience according to Safety and EMC standards.
• Strong knowledge of schematic & PCB design (Altium).
• Strong knowledge of passive components.
• Experience with UART, I2C, SPI interfaces.
• Lab equipment proficiency (oscilloscope, power supply, signal generator).
• Experience with LTSpice or similar simulation tools.
• Excellent verbal and written English skills.

How do we describe the perfect match?

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering (M.Sc. would be a plus).
• Minimum 9 years of experience in hardware design
• Experience in designing Switch Mode Power Supply (AC-DC, DC-DC)
• Experience in designing digital and analog circuits
• Strong knowledge of the selection of MCU&MPU and peripherals
• Design and analysis experience according to Safety and EMC standards
• Strong knowledge of Schematic & PCB design (preferably Altium)
• Strong knowledge of passive components
• Experience with the interface of UART, I2C, SPI
• Strong knowledge of lab equipment specs and usage (oscilloscope, power supply, signal generator, etc.)
• Experienced in using simulation tools (preferably LTSpice or etc)
• Excellent verbal and written skills in English
